Today was pretty awesome! We took the kids about 45 minutes north of our new house in Glen Carbon to Grafton, Illinois. Situated along the Great River Road it was a fabulously scenic drive! I felt inspired and carefree. Not joking! Something about a river and the sunshine! And as luck would have it we were right on time for the last weekend of the month Flea Market at The Loading Dock too!
So, a little background. I am not much of a drive around and look for treasures, antiquing, kind of person. I wish I was all hip like that. I always thought it looked fun but I never really put in any effort. But this was a great way to get my feet wet. I mean, there was a band, cold drinks, good food, a beachy vibe and so many fun things to look at.
