Buying For Your Airbnb

Here are a few things to consider when purchasing items for your Airbnb.

Functionality: This is the most important. Everything needs to serve a purpose. A few items on a cabinet or dresser are fine but avoid unnecessary clutter.

Ease of Replacement: As tempting as it is to pick up that cute silverware set at Homegoods, it is critical that everything in your condo is easy to replace. This means that you can easily find the same item and order it for quick delivery. This is why I do most of my Airbnb shopping on Amazon or at Target.

Cleaning: Make sure everything is easy to clean. For example, I prefer a wooden mini crib over a pack-and-play because it’s easy to spray and wipe down. Choose fabrics that are easy to clean, and you’ll thank me later!

Set Yourself Apart: Include extras that matter. Sound machines, backpack coolers, pool towels, and baby books are all examples of items that will help ensure your listing is chosen over other similar listings.
