Believe it or not, buying furniture for a new vacation rental is actually one of my favorite parts. To be honest, I don’t really love interior design, but I do like maximizing space and finding durable, easy-to-clean furniture for my Airbnb rentals. So today, I want to share some of my favorite Airbnb dining tables and chairs at Wayfair, along with a few things to consider when choosing dining sets for your Airbnb!

Choosing Airbnb Dining Tables & Chairs
There are a few things you really need to keep in mind when choosing the best dining room table set for your rental property. So I will start there, then share some of my favorites that check those boxes. And not all short-term rental properties are the same! So, I’ll include Airbnb dining tables for all sorts of spaces and price points.
Here are four main questions to ask yourself and things to consider when shopping for an Airbnb dining table and chairs! You’ll also notice I am focusing on regular-height tables. I am not a big fan of the taller bar-height tables, especially if you will be hosting toddlers and young kids at your rental who may fall.
#1 How Many People Does Your Rental Sleep?
This is very important! If your rental sleeps 8, your dining room table should seat 8. Do not skimp here!
Now, there are some exceptions when you have a larger home. For example, in many rentals that sleep 15, the dining room table seats 12, plus 3 barstools. Basically, you should have a seat for everyone to eat at. However, if you are in a warm-weather destination with a very large home, I think it’s okay to include outdoor dining tables in the seating total if you need to.
At the same time, it’s silly to have a large dining table that seats eight when your one-bedroom condo only sleeps two! Some extra space is always appreciated, especially if the table doubles as a workspace.
However, don’t sacrifice too much of the needed floor space for an unnecessarily oversized dining room table.
#2 Do You Have a Dedicated Dining Room?
Secondly, you need to examine your space. Do you have a dedicated dining room that you want to fill like in your regular home? If so, a larger-than-required table may be a better choice.
Oftentimes, if you have a kitchen table and a dining room table, you can easily accommodate as many guests as your 5+ bedroom home sleeps.
On the other hand, if you don’t have a dedicated dining room at your Airbnb, ask yourself how your space could be best utilized. You want to make sure everyone can easily get in and out, so sometimes it’s better to choose a round table over a rectangular table. Also, if tight on space, you may even want to consider a bench or banquette on one side!
As you can see in this studio condo of mine, we had very little space to create a dining area. I found this narrow table that almost feels like a mini farmhouse table. I paired it with inexpensive low-profile chairs to make a small dining area in a 340 sq ft studio with three beds!
I even added felt pads on the bottom so people can slide it out if they need to, since it’s a little tight against the wall.

#3 Are You Choosing a Durable, Easy-to-Clean Table & Chairs?
I have said it before and will say it again: most Airbnb guests will not take good care of your place. People tend to lose their common sense while on vacation. So, make sure you buy durable, easy-to-clean Airbnb dining tables and chairs.
For the table, make sure the surface is heat-resistant and scratch-resistant. I also like to avoid excess ridges and gaps where crumbs can build up. These are the little things you learn to think about and avoid as a seasoned Airbnb host!
For your Airbnb chairs, I highly recommend avoiding upholstered chairs, which will eliminate many dining sets. I like wooden chairs, but you can also choose an easy-to-clean leather-like material if you want some added texture.
Honestly, the best dining chairs for Airbnb rentals are the ones that are easiest to keep clean!
#4 What Is Your Airbnb Furniture Budget?
Lucky for us Airbnb hosts, companies like Wayfair have a huge selection of quality Airbnb dining tables and chairs perfect for every budget and style preference.
I also like that you can read through many, many reviews to make sure you are getting the most bang for your buck.
Except for ultra-high-end properties, don’t overspend on your Airbnb furniture. Buy something that looks nice and substantial (not cheap), but don’t worry about fancy brands. You do not need a $7500 Crate & Barrel dining set in your short-term rental. Trust me!
The Best Airbnb Dining Tables at Wayfair
While buying a complete Airbnb dining room set is undoubtedly easier, many come with upholstered chairs. So, don’t be afraid to purchase your Airbnb dining tables and chairs separately for your rental’s dining space.
Also, some of the photos in this post are from my rentals, like the one above. You may notice that the table is set. For the most part, all of my Airbnb listing photos are exactly how our place will look when a guest walks in. However, I do always take one picture of the table set as well. It helps them get a better feel for the size!
Alright, let’s get started with my top picks for Airbnb dining tables and chairs at Wayfair. Below each photo in the following section are links to the exact products, labeled by number in the image. And many of these tables and chairs come in multiple colors and finishes, so check out each product listing!

Top Airbnb Dining Room Sets
If you are looking for a one-and-done dining room set for your Airbnb rental, here are some great options that seat four to eight people. All have easy-to-clean chairs, great reviews, and would be solid choices in my book. You can’t go wrong with any of these Wayfair dining tables and chairs!
1 Heymann Dining Set | 2 Surbit Beardall Butterfly Leaf Dining Set | 3 Bungalow Rose Dining Set | 4 Norita Dining Set | 5 Plympton Dining Set | 6 Dellbrook Dining Set
Standard Airbnb Dining Tables
In the following image, I’ve included some great basic Airbnb dining room tables that seat four to eight people. As you can see, I am drawn to the simple dining room tables with just four legs. I find them easier to clean than the more intricate tables.
When you look at the table listings on Wayfair, make sure to read through them carefully. Many tables come with an additional leaf that adds seating for two to four more.
1 Hudson Trestle Dining Table | 2 Dellbrook Dining Table | 3 Bungalow Rose Dining Table | 4 Pinellas Round Dining Table | 5 Deanne Pedestal Dining Table | 6 Imogan Dining Table
Easy To Clean Airbnb Dining Chairs
As long as all of the chairs match, you usually have some extra liberty to coordinate chairs with your tables. Don’t be afraid to contrast a black chair with a brown table. As a seasoned Airbnb host, I recommend buying one or two extra chairs.
I think chairs are one piece of Airbnb furniture that has the potential to get broken. One of my friends even had one go missing from her rental! I assume they broke it and just didn’t tell her. But that just blows my mind!
Also, pay attention to the matching table that Wayfair recommends with these and other chairs. Sometimes that is an easy way to find coordinating pieces of dining room furniture for rentals!
1 Williamsbridge Side Chair | 2 Sevenoaks Chairs | 3 Windsor Side Chair | 4 Romford Chairs | 5 Bronxton Farmhouse Chair | 6 Chesley Chair Set of 4
Small Space Dining Tables for Rentals
If you have a studio condo like me, you may just need a minimal dining surface for two people. Here are some small and flexible-shaped dining tables for smaller spaces that you might like! Often, these small dining tables double as a workspace in a studio rental, which guests really appreciate.
1 Fiennes Dining Table | 2 Wilky Dining Table | 3 Framlingham Dining Table | 4 George Oliver Round Table | 5 Norita Manor Dining Table | 6 Highland Table With Shelves
Extra Large Dining Tables for Vacation Rentals
If you need to seat more than 12 guests at your Airbnb rental, you may need two tables. In most situations, that means a large dining table plus a kitchen table, and maybe even bar stools, too!
But Wayfair has some great Airbnb dining tables that can seat up to 12, or at least 10 people comfortably. Here are some larger farmhouse-style tables I think would be great for a short-term rental property!
1 Kinston Dining Table | 2 Allbritton Dining Table | 3 Bozrah Dining Table | 4 Drake Trestle Table | 5 Amelda Dining Table
Airbnb Dining Tables for Unique Spaces
Here is one last set of potential Airbnb dining tables! These are geared more toward unique spaces, typically in small condos or even glamping-style Airbnb rentals. There are a couple of corner banquette-style options and a couple of counter-height sets that can go near a wall or behind a sofa (facing the TV) in a rental that may not have space for a true dining area.
I also included a couple of small tables that work well in a small corner of a living space. These are also great places for people to work.
1 Breakfast Nook Set | 2 Teneile Bar Table Set | 3 Selby Dining Set | 4 Keiera Counter Height Set | 5 Arianna Dining Set | 6 Castellon Dining Table | 7 Round Dining Room Table
