It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Airbnb hosting. I have four rentals on 30A myself, so it was fun to watch them jump in and purchase this adorable A-frame cabin rental on Cedar Creek Lake in Texas!

If you are looking for a vacation rental near Cedar Creek Reservoir (outside of Dallas, TX), stick around as I tell you more about their new Airbnb rental.
If you aren’t familiar with this area, Cedar Creek Lake is located about an hour southeast of Dallas, TX. This makes it a fantastic place for a weekend getaway! They love it because it is near some unique places, including a winery with Texas Longhorns and some great places for live music.
Lake Getaway Frame: A Cute A-Frame Rental Near Dallas
Their new A-frame rental has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is available to book on Airbnb. With two stories and almost 1700 sq ft., this charming A-frame comfortably sleeps up to six adults plus two to three kids/babies. They even offer a mini crib and baby amenities like we do at our condos on 30A.
Details: Cedar Creek Lake Getaway Frame
The Lake Getaway Frame is located in the Westwood Beach neighborhood along Cedar Creek Lake in Tool, Texas. This neighborhood has private lake access with a boat ramp and dock, and it’s less than a 5-minute walk from this a-frame. There is parking for your boat trailer and multiple cars.
If you want to get out on the water but don’t have a boat, Lone Star Marina is just 3.5 miles away and offers Cedar Creek Lake boat rentals and wave runners. Both are popular Cedar Creek Lake rentals, and older kids and adults will love tubing on the lake.
While the Lake Getaway Frame is not directly on the lake, it has lovely lake views from the front patio. Sit and relax as the sun sets while you use the Napoleon Grill or enjoy a fire in the new Solo Stove. They even have a custom stargazing hammock! Sure, it’s cute, but let’s look a little closer at the upscale amenities at Lake Getaway Frame. Everything is new in 2024!

As I mentioned earlier, there are three bedrooms. Upstairs is the master suite with a King-size bed. Downstairs is a bedroom with a Queen bed, and a bedroom with two Full-sized beds. They have cozy mattresses and bedding. There are two spa-like full bathrooms, one on each level.Â
The kitchen is fully stocked with full-size appliances, including an oven, stove, and dishwasher. You can enjoy meals at a dining room table that seats six or pull up a stool at the breakfast bar. Cool your drinks is the upscale wine fridge!
Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy yet modern living area featuring one of three Roku smart TVs at Lake Getaway Frame. I love the natural light from the floor-to-vaulted ceiling windows and sliding doors! An upstairs loft area provides an additional sitting area and workspace. The style is on point, and no detail is missed at their lake property, making it one of the best vacation rentals in the area!
Don’t overlook the fenced-in backyard that allows your kids to burn off energy without running off.

Places To Visit During Your Stay
Of course, you can easily spend your stay simply relaxing at this lake house rental on Cedar Creek Lake. The views that the lake offers are incredible! But if you want to get out and explore a bit, here are some great places to check out during your lake vacation.
Fig & Parsley
Located just a mile and a half from the Lake Getaway Frame, the Fig & Parsley general store has a restaurant and often has live music (view schedule). This is a great place to stock up on fresh and frozen foods and grab some drinks before your a-frame stay. I love the string lights above the fun outdoor area, and the brussels sprouts look incredible! You can even order takeout to bring back to this Cedar Creek Lake rental.
Cedar Creek Brewery
Another great place for indoor or outdoor dining is Cedar Creek Brewery. Located just under 5 miles from the a-frame, this brewery is family-friendly, with fun games for the kids, a corn hole, a sandbox, and plenty of space to relax. In addition to their selection of craft beers on tap, there is a full food menu, including pizza! Don’t miss their weekday happy hour!
Triple N Ranch Winery
The Triple N Ranch Winery is so unique! Where else can you sip your wine in the presence of Texas Longhorns? You can even purchase wine to bring back and enjoy during your stay at Lake Getaway Frame. In addition to wine, they offer a variety of other events, including live music, dancing, wine tasting, etc. Most require tickets, so check the Triple N Ranch event schedule for more information. This is a kid-friendly place, and reservations are strongly recommended.
B4 Barbeque
My sister and her family love the staff and the food at B4 Barbeque! It’s located on the other side of the lake but not far from Walmart. So, swing by and grab some BBQ after stopping at the store on your way in.
Whatz Up Fun Park
At Whatz Up Fun Park, located near Cedar Creek Brewery, you can enjoy go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, and arcade games. There is even a small seasonal waterpark that is perfect for kids in the summer. Make sure to check their hours before going. They are generally open all day on the weekend but are closed on some weekdays and open only in the evening on others.
