One of the most frequently asked questions from new Airbnb hosts is what are the best sheets for Airbnb rental properties. So, today, I want to share more about choosing the best Airbnb sheets and link to my favorites!
New here? Hi! I’m Sarah, and I have been a top-rated Airbnb host for several years. Here at Our Little Lifestyle, I share all of my first-hand Airbnb hosting tips to help set you up for success. Here are a few quick links for you!

Best Sheets For Airbnb
Today, we are going to talk specifically about sheets! However, if my Best Bedding For Airbnbs Guide covers the entire bed, make sure to read through it for my favorite duvet covers, mattresses, and more!
I have used the same brand of sheets in all four of our vacation rentals for six years now. I have not received a single complaint, and many of my guests mention how comfortable our beds are and ask me for the links. In their reviews, many of my guests mention the great sleep they got in our Airbnb!
We even use these sheets in our own home because they are butter soft! But they are a microfiber blend. I know some hosts are set on providing 100% cotton sheets, so I will include recommendations for those in this post as well. Additionally, I will answer some of your frequently asked questions about white sheets vs colored sheets and let you know how often I have to replace my Airbnb sheets.

My Favorite Airbnb Sheets
We use the HC Collection Sheets in our rentals and are 100% happy with them. They cover all the bases, from price point to comfort. They have 4.5 stars and almost 90,000 reviews, so I am not alone in my opinion!
I really like these because they don’t get as wrinkled as most cotton sheets do. Plus, at around $30 for a queen set, they are easy to replace as needed. I am going to tell you that some people lose their minds when staying at an Airbnb or a hotel. They do things they would never do at home, such as eating pizza in bed or going to bed covered in self-tanner.

Best Inexpensive Sheets For Airbnb
Several other brands are very similar to these, and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them! However, I do believe it is important to pick one and replace it with the same. That keeps them the exact shade of white and the pillowcases matching, as some have trim detail on them.
Basically, anything that you see in my Best Bedding, Sheets, Mattresses List on Amazon is something that I stand behind recommending to other short-term rental owners.

You can also buy bulk sheets for Airbnb rentals. This CGK Unlimited Set of Sheets is very popular among my blog readers and other hosts in my Airbnb Hosting Facebook Group, which you are welcome to join.
Best 100% Cotton Airbnb Sheets
If you are set on using 100% cotton sheets for your rentals, that is fine, too! However, unless you are providing a true luxury experience, I honestly don’t think they are necessary for most short term rental properties. The most important thing is that your sheets are pristine!
100% cotton sheets will be more expensive than the blended options that I listed earlier. Prices will vary quite a bit depending on the thread count of various bed sheets. But, depending on your budget, there are some very high quality sheets out there, including pima cotton and percale sheets.

Should You Use White Sheets For Airbnb Rentals?
My answer is yes! These days, your Airbnb guests want beds that feel like a hotel. This means clean, crisp, and clutter-free. Throw pillows are not needed on Airbnb beds, especially if they are not being washed between guests.
Every hotel I have ever stayed in has had white bed sheets, and our family travels a lot! White sheets feel transparent and clean. That said, they don’t hide anything, so you need to make sure they are stain-free and pristine. This is key to the guest experience in any rental space!
I will make one exception: the kids’ bunk rooms. Using a light blue sheet or other tasteful color wouldn’t be a terrible idea. Also, if you have a cabin or a primitive-style rental property, using a grey sheet set would be an option, too. I do think that the best color sheets for Airbnb beds will be semi-neutral and not bright or busy.

How Many Sheet Sets Do You Need Per Bed?
To start, I always recommend four sets of sheets per bed. Why? Most cleaning companies launder off-site, so you need to be able to handle same-day turns and accommodate accidents.
When you launch your new Airbnb rental, those sheets will be:
- on the bed
- with the cleaners
- in the linen closet, clean & ready
- backup in the cleaner’s closet
That backup set gets pulled into the rotation as needed, and I actually have several backups for my beds. Often, if my cleaners arrive to find tough stains on the sheets, they will pull a backup set to take with them as well. That way, they can launder them and replace the stained set in the rotation. Many times, if they can save either the flat sheet or fitted sheet that is not stained, they will.
Some cleaning companies offer linen programs that you can buy into. But I do like being more in control of our bedding and choosing my own bedding for our Airbnb rentals.

How Often Do You Have To Replace Sheets In Airbnb Rentals?
I do this more often than I would like. Some hosts don’t always do this, but I tell my cleaners to get rid of any sheets that have even a small stain. Even though they are clean, it’s just not worth a potentially bad review.
After my initial set, I will probably add more backup sheets to the closet about four or five times per year. My recommendation is to keep a bunch in there because you’ll eventually use them.
The most common stains on my Airbnb sheets are from self-tanner! Some types are easier to get out than others. After that, it’s often small blood stains from a razor knick or skinned knee. This is why you always want to have a first aid kit with Band-Aids in your Airbnb. I have had pillowcases ruined from what seems to be fresh hair colorings. And, on occasion, we have dinner in bed groups who leave a lot of food mess.
Most of the time, replacing these sheets is just the cost of doing business. Therefore, I don’t go after my guests for the replacement cost. But if you ever need to, read my post about how to get reimbursed when a guest damages your rental.
What About Sheets For Sofa Beds?
Whether you have a traditional sleeper sofa or a rollaway bed in your rental property, you will want to use the same sheets. So, that’s easy! Don’t forget to buy a mattress pad to protect both of them, just like you would the other beds in your Airbnb.
Using Lint Rollers On Your Airbnb Sheets
One of my best tips is to have long lint rollers on hand for your cleaners to use! These make it easy to ensure there are no stray fuzzies or hairs on the sheets from the laundry room, or people who folded them or made the bed.
I love these oversized lint rollers from Amazon! Make sure your cleaners check the fitted sheet in addition to the top sheet. However, I also keep a set of regular-sized link rollers in the closet for the sofa and armchairs.

Beyond The Sheets For Airbnb Beds
Choosing the best sheets for an Airbnb is just the beginning! A good Airbnb mattress, mattress protectors, pillows, duvets, etc, are very important. I make it easy to know what and where to buy bedding for Airbnb rentals. I also think I have found the best duvet covers for Airbnb rentals! They pair so well with the sheets I use to create a soft and inviting bed for guests.
