From the second that these Marin + Morgan outfits arrived at my home I can’t stop thinking
Come sail away with me to a distant shore…
And I want to book another vacation like yesterday! Planning trips to the beach makes me happy. I would one day dream of living by the ocean again like I did as a child growing up in the furthest corner Pacific Northwest. And Matt has had a lifelong dream of owning a catamaran and sailing it around the world. I get so inspired following different families on Instagram that travel the world with their children. As much as we love the midwest part of us just yearns for that ocean life. I want to share so much more adventure with the kids! But until then I am going to settle for vacations with them. And I can’t wait to bring these outfits wherever we go next!
You know that I am a sucker for coordinating pieces for Abby and Jake. It’s kind of hard to find cute, stylish, tailored and coordinated outfits that are our style. So, I was super happy to hear about Marin + Morgan. Their current Spring line features a variety of styles from dresses to skirts and shorts to shirts in this Bauhaus print and a super cute Popsicle print (you must see it)! The quality is great and these are lightweight enough to last through most seasons!
The day before Abby’s birthday we went downtown for some ice cream and I was excited to get them in these outfits. I brought a couple balloons because we always release balloons for a birthday wish. I snuck my camera into my purse and when they were just sugared up to perfection I took some pictures of them. Their crazy was showing but I wouldn’t have it any other way. And looking at these today I have to cry some ugly mom tears because in the last 10 days we lost that front tooth and Jake got a new haircut and they look so much more grown up! These two faces here really sum up our last year. Hot mess Jake hair, Abby’s little sass. And lots of silliness.
Abby is wearing the Bauhaus Architectural Tunic and Jake is in the long sleeve button down and the Moto drawstring joggers. The detail on the pants is top notch. Lined with the Bauhaus print on the cuffs, pockets and waistband. And so comfy too! Fabulous necklace by Gunner and Lux. And one day I will make it to Africa too! Custom jean jacket by Salvage Maria.
