We had our first snow of the year yesterday and a snow day to go with it. It’s so funny that I was just as excited about it as they were. In this busy world full of day to day obligations it is so unbelievably refreshing when the universe tells you to just stand still. Don’t go anywhere. It’s just you and your loved ones. I am pretty sure that my soul could use a few more snow days! It’s like that almost eerie calm during a power outage. It’s so crazy that we rarely are able to be still.
And the only thing better than my own memories of playing in the snow as a child is watching my own children run around in it. So much joy!
