So, I recently saw a photo of someone sharing their raw and messy home. ย It left me inspired. ย As time passes we are left with memories. ย Lucky for our generation, we will have an abundance ofย photos to help us trigger those memories as years go by. ย I have so many great memories and great photos of my children but not as many raw, organic captures of our home life. ย It’s the little things that come back to make us grin down the road. ย While I don’t have a photo of it I can easily picture the spinning wheel behind the couch at my grandparents house ย or the big tree in the middle of the cul du sac back in Washington.

Today, I want to start out home project. ย As a throwback to days gone by I am keeping it to 1 roll (36 exposures) of 35 mm film. ย Digital of course. ย Un-cropped. ย I have a copy of the full color versions but for the blog I am showcasing them in black and white. ย And most importantly nothing was cleaned up or moved for these. ย No projects were finished. ย  No box was finally unpacked. ย It is what it is is and that’s what makes me feel happy!

I hope that you enjoy! ย And I hope to do them at random every couple months. ย I think they would make great photobooks too! ย I only wish that I would have started it years ago.
