Congrats to our winners Sarah and Luke!

Abby seriously loves art.  Loves colors.  Loves drawing.  Loves telling stories.

Art does not necessarily love Abby.  She is a bit of a misunderstood artist.

This all started back on Mother’s Day 2013 when all of the kids drew a picture of their mommies for the preschool to display throughout the hallway.  When I walked in I saw this and was like.  OMG.  That mom is going to die when she sees this.

Then the kids took their mommies to their picture.  I was grinning looking around for me.  Oblivious that we were inching back toward DDDDat mommy.  Then we stopped.  I was like ‘dishes, this can’t be me.”  And Abby looked up with the biggest grin on her face and said Happy Mother’s Day.  This is probably the most awesome gift ever.  I still have it saved and laugh about it!

So, flash forward to Kindergarten.  The awesomeness continues.

This one from last week looks like a hefty amigo in a sombrero in the process of an armed robbery.

This one came home yesterday.  It’s actually pretty awesome. I am dubbing it The Bette Midler.  Fly, fly, fly away. Oh, you, you, you.  The wind beneath my wings.
