So, recently Jake got a chance to test out a new style of Livie and Luca shoes! The Rover will be debuting in Spring 2015 and we just love it. But I am not surprised. I have loved Livie and Lucas for years. Abby got her first pair back in 2011 shortly after Jake was born. She was 2. It was the original Brown Ruche. They went with everything but more importantly they were comfortable. As time went on we amassed quite the collection of Livie and Luca shoes for Abby, Jake and even me! While yes, we do wear other shoes, I can say that my kids have grown up wearing these. Taken first steps. First days of school. Holidays. Family pictures. Camping. Riding bikes. And just living.
I recommend these to so many friends who I know have become #solemates too. When asked what I love about them I have a zillion reasons. I love the craftsmanship and quality. I love the eco friendly materials used. I love the styles. I love the flex soles. But most importantly I love the company. I have watched them for years and I think that Livie and Luca is a real class act. I watch them build playgrounds. Help change the face of beauty. Send shoes by the box full to Africa. I have watched Mitzi’s close involvement with the Mighty Acorn Foundation which I am also proud to help sponsor. (read about Selvine here). I have watched the retail side grow to include so many small of my favorite family run boutiques. Helping them provide a little extra for their families. They take time to like and share fan photos. They are real moms just like us. And honestly, all in all, this is a company that I love to support. Which means a lot to me. Anyone can make shoes. Not everyone chooses to make a difference.
So, take a peek at Jake in his Livie and Luca Rovers. Then sit back and take a trip down memory lane with me and our Livies.
