Show your smile mom!

So, it’s almost Mother’s Day.  You know… where they make us a sweet  breakfast that you then have to clean up but you wouldn’t change it for the world.  These memories are cherished but as the years pass they get a little buried.  When you look back and watch how fast your children grew and smile as you flip though album after album of decades past you may find something missing.  YOU.  As moms, especially in this tech based world, are able to capture our children daily.  We record the major milestones and the tender moments. But we are almost always the ones behind the camera.   I challenge you ladies…. show me your smile.  Get out from behind the camera a bit.  Take a selfie.  Hand the camera to your spouse or even gasp… your kid. Exhibit A: how I look in my selfie and then Exhibit B: how I look when Jake takes the shot (from what is probably the worst angle ever… yikes).

MOM

Would I normally post these? Ehh probably not.  But, I am sure that we all can agree that when our time on Earth is done and we leave behind our legacy…. imperfect pictures are better than no pictures at all.  Try to make it a habit.  Maybe at least once a week?  You don’t have to post them but make sure to print or save them somewhere they won’t get lost!

So, I hereby challenge you.  Show your smile mom.  Make a point this weekend to get out from behind the camera.  If you choose to share your photo hashtag it #ShowYourSmileMom.  I double dog dare you. And I may even send out a few gifts to some lucky moms whose faces I see!

Happy Mother’s Day ladies.   You are pretty much perfect.. at any angle.

#ShowYourSmileMom

And PS: if any of my business owning friends want to help spread the word that would be wonderful and if you want to pick a special mom to send a gift to that would be incredible. (please email me at [email protected]).
