Two posts in one day! I have been excited to share this fun playdate project idea with everyone and our masterpieces just arrived so the timing is great!
A few weeks ago I gathered a bunch of neighbor kids together at our house to make some plates with the MakIt.com kit (see here). Well, I actually had FOUR kids from a flash sale site purchase back in 2014 so the world was our oyster! I wanted to do it as a group because if we ordered over 10 our plates were only $6.99 each and that includes shipping to us too! I don’t even think you can find any cute melamine plates at that price let alone priceless works of art! I actually used to make these as a child and it is a very strong memory. I remember gifting them to my grandmother and always seeing it at her home. I did a couple of these with the kids years ago but it is so much more fun now that they are old enough to draw cute little preschool and 1st grade drawings. I had Jake draw our family and it is so special!
This post is in no way sponsored by them. But I wanted to share because I think this is such a fun thing to get the kids together and do!
