Chatbooks

So… Jake’s new favorite woe is that I take too many pictures of him. I was worried about that and it’s one reason why I left behind the old blogs for this new one. He doesn’t always understand that I am just trying to capture his life and that he will thank me later. It’s funny because he never ever complains when I take them. But when he really wants a jab he says that he loves daddy more because he doesn’t take his picture. It stings. But tonight after he said that, I went and grabbed some things that he has never seen before. And we sat in the kitchen for hours as he took his first glance at my  ChatBooks Seeing his younger self and reliving memories made him laugh out loud and even get a little sad. I think he understands it all now. Actually I know it because he proceeded to get a play sword and ask me to take about a zillion pictures of him.

And…. I want to say that I really enjoy ChatBooks!  It makes me think about what I post. I always ask myself “would I want this in my Chat Book? is this really my story?”. And sometimes it makes me delete a phony pic and sometimes it makes me leave in an unexpected one. Like Matt sleeping on the couch. It gets our day to day lives in print somewhere. Just in case I never ever actually finish our photo albums.

They did not pay me to post this.  I signed up myself and I am really really happy that I did!  It’s 60 pages per book for $6 shipped.  I have it set up as a subscription to sent my new ones once a month.  And even print all of my backdated ones (you can pick all at once or just a few per month until caught up).

They do have a refer a friend program though and if you want to try it you can enter my code  27JVZA9X and get your first book free.  I think that you will love it!

I do!
