Nowhere does Fall like the great Midwest! September and October are so beautiful around here and there are always so many fairs and festivals to choose from! We closed out our Summer and rang in Fall with a trip to Eckert’s Apple Fest on Monday. And in true St. Louis fashion the heat index was like 104 degrees. LOL. But we just couldn’t wait!
We started with apple cider donuts and then hit the rides. Tickets are only 6 for $10 and all of the rides (except the big bounce house) are only one ticket which is seriously fantastic when you little ones want to ride all of the rides. And they JUST HAD TO ride the camels too!
After a big old lemonade we took the wagon out to the apples and filled our bags! This is their favorite part!
Then we had to top off our trip with an ice cream treat!
We can’t wait to head over to their Millstadt Fun Farm later this month for some true Fall festivities including bonfires!
