How Does the Orboot Function?
Upon receiving your Orboot, you need to download the app. Once you register your email, you can sync progress across multiple devices. You’ll also find a short video explaining its operation.
You can then use your device’s camera to scan various areas. The Orboot app allows you to delve deeper into different subjects. It even brings up 3D images of monuments and animals directly on the globe! The animations are delightful, and reading isn’t required (though Abby enjoys reading along). You can even guess what animals in the region eat and feed them!
The exploration possibilities are vast, and I find the Orboot Earth as captivating as the kids. The content is absorbing, with hundreds of animals, monuments, inventions, weather conditions, cultures, cuisines, country flags, data, and maps to discover.
The globe’s design is clean and uncluttered, allowing focus on earth’s regions at a high level. At the same time, more detailed information is revealed with each scan. Orboot’s immersive capabilities would be perfect for home-schooling parents seeking to add STEM content to their kid’s curriculum. It’s also an ideal supplement to earth science and geography-related education. The global perspective of Orboot’s content is a fantastic way to expand the learning horizon of younger children.
