You guys! The desert is hot. We rarely get below triple digits during the day so we have resorted to heading outside in the evenings. Last night we went to a local park (Hesperia Lake Park for my local friends) that I knew had a fun creek for the kids to play in. And being desert people now that creek was like an oasis!
This was the perfect opportunity for the kids to test out their new waterproof sneakers from Aleader. When they reached out to us and offered to send some I knew this was just up our alley. While Abby is a little flip-flopper after my own heart Jake is incredibly particular about his shoes and (#confession) both kids can’t really tie shoes yet. I love the fact that these shoes are slip on. They passed the rocky creek challenge and are a great option for camping, splash pads and more. I love how they are fashionable too! I cringe at some of the water shoe options out there. And the price point is great!
