Yesterday we popped over to a town about 5 miles down the road called Oro Grande to enjoy a little festival. This small town is located directly on Old Route 66 and full of antique shops. And they are like the best antique shops ever! I could roam them all day long.
This little town also is home to Roy Roger’s Ranch. He called this area home for decades and the main highway through Apple Valley is called “Happy Trails Highway“. I am fascinated with the history here in the High Desert.
Anyway, we enjoyed music, sunshine and even found a few new treasures!
