Sprouting threads is a subscription-based children’s clothing service for ages 2-8. You can choose to receive either seasonal or monthly deliveries of two to five outfits You can choose all new or new + some reThreads. Each delivery has a $20 styling fee. You keep the pieces you want, and return the rest. Keeping two or more items? Then the $20 per order styling fee is applied to your order! Shipping is included both ways. They send you automatic reminders for upcoming shipments to allow for sizing, style preference & delivery frequency adjustments, or to pause your shipments.
What can you expect? Boutique brands, your style. Easy Peasy. Parents build their initial style profile for each child with the simple online tool. They they then carefully hand pick outfits from their inventory of over 50 top children’s clothing lines.
Then what? Kids often outgrow their clothes before they wear out! So parents can opt to send in outgrown pieces as reThreads, and receive credit toward future outfits all while contributing to the ‘circular economy.’ Families looking for a broader range can opt to purchase reThreads in their orders as well.
Sprouting Threads gave us the chance to try out a box ourselves. Abby and Jake did the style survey with me! It was really fun to have them express what outfits appealed to them! They waited patiently for the box and wasted no time digging in! Jake received some of my favorites! Tea Collection, Tooby Doo, Blu Pony Vintage and Abby got some Mimi & Maggie along with DeuxParDeux and a fabulous Vierra Rose tutu! They got our style pretty spot on and the sizing was great. The best part is that while you can choose to do it monthly you can also just choose seasonally. So, at the start of each season you will get a box with some great new styles for your growing kids.
